On Saturday morning I went out to Richmond with Chicky to see his dragonboat team compete. It was a small race on the dike. Chicky's not officially on the team this year due to other commitments (such as the wedding). But he paddles when there's not enough people to do so.The weather was spectacular and the crowds excited. We stayed till 1pm then had to take off so that we could clean up and go to some open houses back in Coquitlam. I spent the morning climbing up and down the dike trying to take pictures of the paddlers. Ugh...these are the days when I wish I still had my longer lens. :-)
